Fuengirola is just 20 minutes by car from Malaga airport, and searching for hotels Fuengirola will yield a wide range of results for you. Both a popular resort and a proper Spanish town, this has a fish dock that gets very busy. You will find at lot of Northern European pensioners here in the winter for the warmer climate, but it is also popular with Spaniards in the summer months. Things to See
Marbellas Casco Antinguo (Old Town) is a small area to the north of Avenda Ramon y Cajal. There are still good sights of the old Moorish walls and one of the original towers of the Castillo. To the west is the Parque de la Consitutucion with pleasing gardens on a fairly large outdoor auditorium. There are also a number of museums in and around the town, but these probably won’t be the main priority for many visitors.
