Hotel Costa Del Sol
There whole coastline along the Costa Del Sol has been developed, some say to much. This means that you are quite likely to find a cheap hotel Costa Del Sol due to the competition. However, during the peak summer months, this is a very popular destination and places do get booked up.

If you just want to relax, there are all inclusive hotels Costa Del Sol which can cater for your needs.

Malaga is perhaps best known as the place where the main airport for Andalucía region of Spain is, but there is more to Malaga and finding a hotel Malaga style is becoming the thing to do as part of your Southern Spain experience.

There are plenty of sights to see in Malaga, and this lies in the historic central attractions of the town and a grand cathedral and narrow streets. There are plenty of hotels in Malaga that offer great value, and plenty to see whether just a stop over of more of a substantial trip.

Getting to Malaga
Malaga has a very busy and seemingly ever expanding airport which is just 7km from the centre. Taxis will cost around €10-14 depending on your final location. A great cheap method of getting to the city centre is the Fuengirola-Malaga train which runs ever half and hour in is under a couple of Euros for the single trip. The journey is quick and the station is around a 20-minute walk from the centre.

Getting Around in Malaga
Most of the things to see are located within a small area and it is easy to walk between the attractions. There is an open top bus service as well as horse and walking tours.

Best Time to Visit Malaga
One of the best climates in Europe, if not the best, the January temperatures are a mild 15 degrees Celsius, while in the summer breezes from the coast make the heat of the sun tolerable. With low rainfall, this is a great place to visit all around the calendar.

Hotel Malaga
Whilst historically Malaga was avoided as simple a means to an end as a transport hub, the accommodation options are improving continually with many modern style hotels. There is a wide range of Hoteles Malaga with options to suit all brackets, be sure to check the rooms first in some of the cheaper areas around the port which cater for nomads and transient workers. Some examples include Hotel Malaga Centro, Hotel Monte Malaga and Hotel Zenit Malaga.

Be sure to do a search for the best hotels in Malaga. There are many options such as cheap hotels in Malaga that means you are likely to find a great Hotel Malaga style.

There are plenty of Hotels Costa Del Sol on this stretch of coast that runs westwards from Malaga to Gibraltar. The area has a very well developed tourist industry and in some parts it can be a little over developed. There are many popular resorts on the Costa Del Sol such as Fuengirola, Marbella and Torremolinos. You will find a complete range for hotels in Costa Del Sol.

Tourism really started in this area in the late 1960s and now is perhaps the most popular holiday area in Europe attracting millions of visitors every year. In the early part of the 2000s decade the range of growth and building was an enormous 1,800%. The popularity of the Costa Del Sol is a bit hard to pin point as this is not the best place in Spain for beaches which tend to be rocky. The access isn’t great either with the coastal road being classed as one of the most dangerous in the whole of Europe. Culturally there are far richer places to visit inland, but there is no denying that this has one of the most favorable climates in the whole of Europe and people flock here. It is also just a few hours from gems such as Sevilla and Granada.

Hotels Costa Del Sol
Despite the large number of developments and hotels here, the popularity of the area means that the hotel occupancy rates remain high. You can find plenty of cheap hotels in Costa Del Sol as well as more exclusive and expensive offerings such as those found around Marbella. Many people like that fact that there are all inclusive hotels Costa Del Sol really does offer something for everyone on this front.

You are best narrowing down to which resort you want to visit in the Costa Del Sol and then delving deeper to find suitable hotels. If you are here on a carefree holiday then all inclusive might be the thing for you and you will find Torremolinos more suitable for this. Fuengirola has it’s fair share of cheap hotels, whilst lesser know resorts such as Churriana, Benalmadena and Mijas might offer you something more suitable to your budget.

Whatever you decide, hotels Costa Del Sol style will have you lying on a sunbed, sipping sangria and soaking up the sun!

Fuengirola is just 20 minutes by car from Malaga airport, and searching for hotels Fuengirola will yield a wide range of results for you. Both a popular resort and a proper Spanish town, this has a fish dock that gets very busy. You will find at lot of Northern European pensioners here in the winter for the warmer climate, but it is also popular with Spaniards in the summer months. Unlike the other popular resort of Torremolinos, Fuengirola has a long history. There are roman remains and a roman arch re-built from remains that were actually found on the seabed.

Aside from the history of the town, there is no doubt that Fuengirola is a resort location primarily now. There are a number of attractions in and around the town such a Fuengirola Zoo, Aquaparks on the roads between Torremolinos and Fuengirola and an amusement park at Arroyoa de la Miel called Tivoli World.

Hotels in Fuengirola
There are a number of pensiones and hotels in Fuengirola, mainly catering for the tourist market. These include Hotel el Puerto Fuengirola, Varamar Hotel Fuengirola and Las Palmeras Hotel Fuengirola.

Fuengirola is also a cheaper place to stay if you want to visit Marbella, as it doesn’t attract the same level of clientele as the expensive resort of Marbella down the road it tends to be cheaper.

Location
Fuengirola is a great place to locate yourself if you want to set up for some sun but still be in a good location to explore Andalucia. You can easily get the train from Malaga airport to Fuengirola, and similarly if you want to head further in to Spain you can get train and bus connections quite easily from Malaga. The public transport is cheap and with a good range of hotels Fuengirola has a lot to offer for your holiday location.

Known as the Costa del Sol’s most exclusive resort, Marbella’s wealth shines out of the golden mile. Hotels Marbella can be expensive and indulgent, but then you can find some bargains if you are prepared to sacrifice a few luxuries and location.

The Golden Mile
Stretching from Marbella to Puerto Banus, there are plenty of star spot clubs, hotels and restaurants. You’ll see luxury cars cruising down the strip and luxury yachts in the quay. This is the place to come for the areas best food and drink, any you can find the odd decent tapas bar if you look hard enough.

Getting There
The nearest airport is Malaga, which is less than an hour away by road, and there are regular buses if you are not hiring a car. The closest place to catch the train is at Algerciras to the West and Fuengirola to the East.

A Brief History
The most popular of the Moorish towns between Malaga and Gibraltar, and much of the Moorish influence particularly to the layout of the streets is still evident today. Due to it’s location next to the sea with beautiful views and climate, in the mid 1950s a club called the Marbella Club was built here by Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe. This attracted a wealthy international following which sprawled out from it the up-market Marbella that we find today.

Things to See
Marbellas Casco Antinguo (Old Town) is a small area to the north of Avenda Ramon y Cajal. There are still good sights of the old Moorish walls and one of the original towers of the Castillo. To the west is the Parque de la Consitutucion with pleasing gardens on a fairly large outdoor auditorium. There are also a number of museums in and around the town, but these probably won’t be the main priority for many visitors.

Marbella Hotels
Looking for hotels in Marbella means stepping up your expectations as to how much money your are going to spend. This is the place to perhaps come as part of your overall Costas trip to splash out and spend. In this area when looking for hotels in Marbella it is also worth considering the other areas such as Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Mijas and around Marbella.

Some accommodation in Marbella to consider includes Marbella Club hotel, the original destination in Marbella. Also worth checking out are El Oceano Beach Hotel Marbella, Hotel Los Monteros Marbella and Gran Hotel Guadalpin Marbella. There is also El Fuerte, Artola Golf Hotel, Berlin, Central, La Luna, Juan and Albergue Juvenil.

There are also a few good quality campsites near to Marbella, which are all on the coast and close to the beach, but many find at doing Hotels Marbella style is the best to make the most of their holiday.

Jerez although larger than nearby Cadiz seems quieter. The city is most well know for it’s sherry, the wine that takes it’s name from here and is drunk in huge quantities throughout Andalucía. Jerez De La Frontera hotels give you a place to rest up between sampling the sights and drinks this town has to offer.

Jerez is also well known for it’s flamenco and horses, with huge festivals showcasing both throughout the year. Hotels may be a bit harder to find during May Feria when the Spanish motorcycling Grand Prix usually takes place.

Getting There
Jerez can be reached quite easily using public transport from Sevilla or Cadiz. It also has it’s own airport just 8km to the northeast of the town with both domestic and international flights stopping there.

A Brief History
Jerez was a fairly unimportant during Roman times, though it did produce wine back then. Strong moor influence remains as in much of Andalucia. The name ‘de la frontera’ means of the frontier, a full name addition that it shares with many other towns in the area. Jerez has been famous for its sherry since the 15th century and ever since Britain has been its main consumer. Jerez also is well known for its large gypsy community as well. Find a hotel Jerez De La Frontera and explore!

Things to See
At the centre of Jerez is Plaza del Arenal, with many of the cities main sites a short walk from here. There is a cathedral and some interesting churches including Ingelsia de San Miguel. There is, as is common around Andalucia, a Museo Arqueologico (Archaeological museum) which is attractive but not as good as the museum in nearby provincial capital Cadiz.

The Centro Andaluz de Flamenco is an important place to understand the music, dance and art of this area. There is also a Zoo in Jerez if this takes your fancy.

Hotels in Jerez De La Frontera
There are a number of attractive pensiones which are great for cheap hotels Jerez De La Frontera. Some of note in El Puerto de Santa Maria include the more luxurious Hotel Monasterio San Miguel though expect to pay more here. There are also places such as the 18th century Casa de Los Leones, then the Hotel Los Cantaros and Hostal Sherry at the lower end of the market. There are pensiones such as Esperanza and Pension Manola. There is camping available in Jerez too by the beach at Playa Las Dunas.

Jerez de la Frontera hotels include the Hotel Bellas Artes, Hotel La Albarizuela, Hotel Trujillo, Hotel Nova, San Andres, and the hotels of Las Palomas and Sanvi – all of which are good hotels Jerez style.

Jerez de La Frontera is a great place to visit and some Jerez De La Frontera Hotels wait your custom.

If you are staying in a Marbella Hotel, you are staying in one of the most exclusive resorts in the whole of the Mediterranean. This is one of the places where the rich and famous come to play, and you can get in on a piece of the action at a hotel in Marbella.

Marbella has the famous golden mile that runs along the coast from Marbella to Puerto Banus. It is here that you will see the luxury cars cruising alongside the fashionable bars and clubs along the strip. It’s not all glitz and glamour, if you are looking for some authentic Spanish living, then Marbella has all that to offer as well.

The main way that people come to the resort town of Marbella is from Malaga and it’s busy international airport. From here many people hire a car to get to their Marbella luxury hotel, and to also explore some of the great inland sites that Andalucía has to offer. Other ways to get here include catching the train from the airport to Fuengirola and then a connecting bus or a bus or taxi directly from the airport.

Due to it’s location in one of the best climates in Europe, Marbella along with the rest of the Costa Del Sol has been a very popular place for people to visit since the sixties. The Marbella Club Hotel was the first real destination here set up by Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe and it still attracts the wealthy to this day to soak up the sun and enjoy the nightlife here.

The old town of Marbella is worth a look when you are here. There are still remains of the city walls from the Moor period and lots of shops, gardens and restaurants to enjoy. There are also a number of museums to discover more about the area.

Marbella Hotel
There are plenty of great hotels in the Marbella area. There is the club already mentioned, Don Carlos hotel Marbella is also another popular place to stay. The Hotel Don Carlos Marbella offers some luxury by the sea – what more could you ask for?

If you are on a tighter budget you could always look at staying in one of the surrounding areas and heading in to Marbella on public transport. Other places to consider include Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Mijas, which all offer affordable accommodation just a few miles from the famous Marbella golden mile. If you can, try and get a Marbella hotel within your budget so that you are closer to the action.
